About the event

Suitable for ages 18+

Before the Workshop:

  1. Prepare your Tools: Participants should bring their laptops and an open mind, ensuring they are fully charged and ready for the workshop.
  2. Optional Pre-Exploration: Feel free to download and explore the Godot Engine beforehand, although prior knowledge is not necessary for the workshop.
  3. Install Godot Engine: If you choose to explore the Godot Engine beforehand, make sure to have it installed on your laptop before the workshop begins.
  4. Bring Note-taking Materials: Consider bringing a notebook and pen to jot down important concepts, tips, and ideas during the workshop.

During the Workshop, you will:

  1. Learn the Godot Engine: Understand its interface, project structure, and navigation.
  2. Build Your First Game: Create a game project, including level design, player controls, and interactive elements.
  3. Develop Problem-Solving Skills: Engage in game development challenges to enhance critical thinking and find creative solutions.
  4. Level Up Your Coding Skills: Explore fundamental coding principles, from variables and conditionals to loops and functions.

After the Workshop:

  1. Further Workshops: Consider signing up for advanced workshops to deepen your knowledge.
  2. Online Courses: Explore comprehensive courses on game development and the Godot Engine.
  3. YouTube Tutorials: Expand your skills with a variety of game development tutorials available online.
  4. Join a Community: Connect with other developers in forums, Discord servers, or local meetups for ongoing support and inspiration.

We understand that circumstances can change, and sometimes you may need to cancel your registration for our event. We want to make sure that our refund policy is fair and transparent. Here's how it works:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel your registration 15 days or more before the start of the event, you will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: If you cancel your registration within 15 days of the event, you will be eligible for a partial refund of 50% of the registration fee.
  • Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the event on short notice, such as due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, we will provide a full refund to all registered participants.
